After years of rapping about proudly declining offer after offer (continuing the legacy of his mentor Young Dolph), Key Glock is officially a major label artist and Glockaveli is set for a May 2, 2025 release on Republic. Mildly disappointing but if the rest of the record sounds like this then all is well.

Three full-length efforts dropped from three very different artists that seem to be working at the highest level of their careers thus far: DaBoii seems energized and the most focused he's been since the SOB x RBE era; Saba's long-awaited collab album with No ID exceeds expectations and really sings when he's rapping (not as much when he..sings); and PremRock continues the momentum built from last year's ShrapKnel LP with an underground AOTY contender featuring some of the best MCs (billy woods, Pink Siifu, AJ Suede, Cavalier...) and producers (Child Actor, Blockhead, Controller 7, Sebb Bash...) in that scene.

The always-dependable Starlito is just as good as he's ever been. With all due respect to Key Glock and woods the biggest album announcement in March may have been confirmation that Step Brothers 4 Life (w/ Don Trip) is coming May 9, 2025.
